Sri Swami Vishwananda installs new murtis of Divine Mother in the Shree Peetha Nilaya's entrance

As the 10 year anniversary celebration of Bhakti Marga is fast approaching, Shree Peetha Nilaya is getting ready to receive all the ones whose hearts are called to come together on this most auspicious event, to be held on the 10th-12th July.

Last week, the facade of the main entrance was embellished with two new ornamental columns richly decorated with sculptures of Astha Lakshmi, the eight different forms of Lakshmi and the two eternal servants of Mahavishnu, Garuda and Hanuman.

On Monday, Sri Swami Vishwananda installed new murtis of Mahalakshmi, Durga and Saraswati on the roof of Shree Peetha Nilaya's main entrance. This ceremony was not announced in advance, so it turn out to be a very welcomed surprise by everyone present in the Centre.

The installation ritual included Kalash Puja, yagna, and Maha Abishekam. Swamiji also did the Prana Pratishta, infusing the main statue with the cosmic energy of Mahalakshmi, so that She becomes alive.

At the end of the ceremony, participants were literally showered with blessings of Sri Swami Vishwananda and Divine Mother, in the form of water and flower petals.

As Swamiji repeatedly says, "Mahalakshmi is the provider. She is the one who provides for everything in the form of the Mother".

As this year of the 10 year anniversary of Bhakti Marga marks the awakening of a New Era, the installation of this new murti of Mahalakshmi together with two other murtis of Saraswati and Durga in the Shree Peetha Nilaya main entrance, is surely a very symbolic event which fills our hearts with love, hope and faith.
