Swami Vishwananda seva's group made Seva for Christmas in Kenya

The seva volunteers arranged to do a seva on the 25th December 2010 at Caroline Wambui Mungai Foundation. This is a foundation that was formed in the memory of Caroline. The foundation was established in December 2004 to rescue orphans and vulnerable children from poverty to destiny with love. We wanted to celebrate Christmas day with the children. Christmas day is the day when Jesus was born. Celebrating Christmas is not just to attend to churches, Midnight masses or Bhajan singing but it’s much deeper than that. This is the day when Jesus brought something new to the world, which is forgiveness, Compassion and Love.
When we arrived, all the children were eagerly waiting for us. We had done our previous seva at the same place on 28th November 2010. The children were so excited to see us again and eagerly greeted each one of us with so much joy and Happiness. We celebrated this day with the children with Cake, gifts, decorations and singing songs.

The children continuously sang songs and danced. There was so much love flowing from their heart. It was an amazing feeling to be around these children who are blessed with pure hearts.
We wish to continue serving the children and with your assistance we will be able to create a better environment for these children who have nowhere to turn to but us!

Swami Vishwananda wish you an happy new year 2011

‘If you want to change, change now, open your hearts to love’ .
“God is in your heart now. The only thing that you have to do is to make the first step in His direction. You have to want Him with all your soul and all your heart”.
On behalf of the swami Vishwananda seva society, we wish to thank all the seva members and donators who have selflessly served these children with so much joy, and happiness. Without you all, this seva would not have been complete. Your presence in each of the sevas has been appreciated. May God bless you all.

Swami Vishwananda Seva's group did seva on 28th November 2010

The seva volunteers arranged to do a seva on the 28th November 2010 at Caroline Wambui Mungai Foundation. This is a foundation that was formed in the memory of Caroline. The foundation was established in December 2004 to rescue orphans and vulnerable children from poverty to destiny with love.
We donated food, exercise books, sweets, biscuits, fruits to the children. We reached the location at around 12 noon but were waiting for the children as all of them had gone to the church for prayers. Upon arrivals, the children rushed out from the bus, eagerly to greet each one of us with so much joy and happiness. It was a wonderful experience just to have them come and greet.

When we finished serving all the children with food, we started to distribute the ‘goodies’ when Kamla Auntie (Rakesh’s mum) realized that the Bag with all the goodies was having a strong smell of vibhuti. On opening the bag, all the goodies were blessed with Vibhuti.

We later moved to a smaller room where all the children sat and sang holy songs, prayed and waited for us to serve them with the food. Each child received the food with such gratitude. It was definitely a blessed weekend for each one of us.

In the very last minute...

... to be ready for Xmas we sent in the files for the new book
JUST LOVE
to our nice and courteous "Druckmeister Kurz" printer in Stuttgart. There were some serious night shifts necessary but we are now all happy to bring this wonderful first piece of work on its way! We really hope you will like it.
JUST LOVE is the first major book written with words directly from Swamiji and is part of a series of works that will appear in the future. On 324 pages you will find 52 talks given by Swami over the past five years. They are grouped by the following themes: LOVE, DIVINE NAMES, HUMILITY, DEVOTION, SURRENDER & GURU.

Swami Vishwananda encourages us to love...

So easy to spread love!

Swami Vishwannada encourages us again and again to love and to spread love. And he always says that it is so easy. But what do we do? We think about, how we can spread love, instead of just radiating love.
A few days ago I had a nice experience with one of my sisters here at Shree Peetha Nilaya regarding spreading love. It started with me getting annoyed with her and I expressed my anger. When I saw her the next time in the temple for prayers I could suddenly feel love for her. I was surprised about this lovely love-feeling, because in my mind I was still clinging to my anger, also my anger with myself. But this is what we humans love to do, we attach ourselves to the negative. It came quickly to my mind that she must be sending love to me. To send love to somebody with whom you have a conflict works miracles each time. Try it! Later I could ask her, whether my impression was right that she was sending love to me and she confirmed. You can send love in many ways, for example to send light, in all colours, silver, gold, you can imagine how the other is being showered with love-light. It is so simple. And the good thing is that you also benefit. That´s how love multiplies by giving. It is so simple, we just have to want it. We just have to give ourselves this little kick to get over ourselves and to send love instead of stupid thoughts.

Satsang

Swami gave an unscheduled satsang this morning. He spoke about the meaning of Babaji's Commemeration Day. He told us that we celebrated yesterday as the the remembrance and veneration of the time when Babaji made his resolution to stay in a body on this planet until the end of time.

A new orange press machine for Swami Vishwananda

Yesterday, I went to buy an orange press machine because the old one was broken (  or I broke it,  Swami often says  “Pepe everything you touch you break !” I sometimes wonder, it  seems like a curse.)
So I went to Mediamarkt in the morning, the hall was quite empty. Looking through all these long corridors with computers, printers, coffee machines and hoovers, I  found where the orange press machines were. Looking at  each one, I did not know which one to take, the prices were about 40 Euros, the choice was not so big and I was not sure which one to buy. All of a sudden,  a woman came also looking  on the same shelf as me.
I asked her: “are you also looking for an orange press  machine?” “Yes” she said. Looking  at all of them, she said: “The best one is from Braun, it costs 30 Euros. It is not here.”  Then she went. I looked at the machines again, looked at the woman again but she was nowhere to be seen. The big corridor was empty.
On the way back to Springen, I went to the “Haushalt” shop in the next village of Bad Schwalbach.
They had only one Juice press, from Braun for 30 Euros!
Who was this woman?

Babaji's Commemoration Day

Here a  short piece that Swami said last year on the occasion of Babaji’s Day:

"...Today we are celebrating Babaji’s day. Who knows what it is today?
[Pritala is answering] Today we celebrate the decision of Mahavatar Babaji to stay on Earth.
You see, Babaji wanted to leave this planet. Then his sister interceded, and said: “It doesn’t make any difference for you whether you are there or here. So why don’t you stay?”.

Actually it’s on this day, 1800 years ago - plus some years - that he chose to live and immortalized himself here in this world. So that’s what we are commemorating today. It’s like a renewal that he will always be here  to help humanity whenever it’s needed. So it’s time now for the changes to happen. It’s time that humanity calls upon him and receives his help. Whether humanity calls him or not, he will help. But  it’s a nice gesture from us to do so."
