At the question "What is the Self ?" Swami Vishwananda said: "Many spiritual people will say 'I am God', as they read it in books. But can you do everything that God is doing? As long as the mind is not open, we cannot perceive the Self. Narada had a short vision of God and became mad of Love for God. The Self is Love, Light and supreme Bliss. When you will have a taste of the Self you forget everything. But how many will attain this? How many really want to attain the Self ?"
